Motorcycle Coaching, Rider Mentoring & Q-Ride RE Practice
Q-Ride RE Assessment Practice
Extra coaching can help you better prepare for your Q-Ride RE assessment
Preparing for your Queensland Q-Ride RE motorcycle licence assessment can be daunting. Many learner riders feel anxious about the skills and standards required to successfully complete the assessment. Whether you've just finished your 90-day minimum learner period or haven't ridden for a while, some focused coaching can significantly improve your confidence, riding ability and assessment readiness.
Our personalised Q-Ride RE assessment practice helps identify any weaknesses before assessment day, builds confidence through structured practice, and provides practical coaching strategies to improve your skills where they matter most.
Designed specifically for riders preparing for their Q-Ride RE assessment, our coaching focuses on the techniques and knowledge you'll be expected to demonstrate. We concentrate on the areas that many riders find most challenging, such as low-speed control, observation, hazard perception, and decision-making, while providing constructive feedback and coaching to help you ride with greater confidence, consistency, and competence. Even forgetting to do mirror & shoulder checks, leaving indicators on and stalling at hill starts can lead to not yet competence.

Our goal isn't simply to help you pass your RE assessment; it's to help you become a safer, more capable motorcyclist for the road ahead. During your coaching session, we simulate parts of the RE modules:
For example:
Car Park Skills
-
Timed Low-speed control (slow straights and fig 8s)
-
Steering (obstacle avoidance) using the correct procedure
-
Braking (controlled and emergency) at the right location and distance
Road Ride
-
Low risk cornering technique
-
Road positioning using the expected roadcraft
-
Early observation and hazard perception
-
Safe Decision-making in traffic
And, importantly, we discuss the common mistakes the Q-Ride assessor looks for on the road ride that can cause not yet competent (i.e., no licence). So every session is tailored to your experience and learning needs.
Who is This For?
-
Have your RE assessment coming up
-
Have previously been unsuccessful and want extra coaching
-
Haven't ridden for a while and need a confidence boost
-
Feel nervous about slow-speed manoeuvres
-
Simply want to be better prepared before your assessment
Learn at Your Own Pace
Everyone learns differently. Some riders need a few pointers, while others benefit from a longer coaching session before assessment day.
Even though the aim is to help you pass the assessment, it's really become a process to help you become a safer, more confident rider.
Car Park Session minimum 1.5 hours $160.00
RE Road Ride minimum 1.5 hours $160.00

Beyond the Q-Ride Licence Test, we help create highly competent riders
Passing your licence test is only the beginning. Like in most careers, to excel requires continuous professional development.

Therefore, as riders, a priority and challenge is how best to develop the confidence, judgement and roadcraft needed to ride safely in the real world. And our answer is to provide a structured, customised roadcraft and education course that provides the rider with progressive training.

So whether you're a learner rider, newly licensed, returning rider after a break, or preparing for bigger adventures, our personalised motorcycle coaching is designed to help you become a safer, capable and highly competent road rider, and we can also prepare you for your Q-Ride RE/R licence assessment.

Riding schools' private/group sessions are good, but due to time constraints, they mainly focus on licence assessments and basic riding skills, and can't venture too far from their school (I know I teach them).
Our coaching takes place on real roads, in longer, more technically challenging environments, and is tailored specifically to your goals, experience, and riding style. For example, city traffic, mountain roads and twisty sections, night and wet-weather riding, and different surfaces while developing cornering and braking techniques and skills.

As qualified, fully insured Q-Ride trainers, we provide personalised one-on-one coaching in a supportive and encouraging environment, helping riders not only build the genuine competence to pass their test but also become safe riders.
