Motorcycle Tours for 2026

Northern Thailand
13th-23rd October

2 Spots still available

Come with us on our next overseas tour to explore the legendary Lanna Kingdom deep in Northern Thailand. We travel through misty mountain passes, lush valleys, and ancient temple towns. From Chiang Mai to the Golden Triangle, you’ll twist through scenic roads, visit hill-tribe villages, and relax in hot springs. And of course, we will ride Thailand’s most iconic riding routes: the Nan Loop, Doi Inthanon, and the Mae Hong Son Loop.

We also have the benefit of our ride organiser, Taya from "Taya Kitchen Asian Culinary School", who will provide us with valuable advice on the best foods to try (See FortNine Durian test ).

Now, an example of one of the routes is the Mae Hong Son Loop, which stands as one of Thailand’s most legendary motorcycle journeys, winding through the mountainous northern region with its namesake 1,864 curves. This spectacular route encompasses approximately 600 kilometres of breathtaking scenery, connecting Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son province. The road features sweeping bends, hairpin turns, and dramatic elevation changes that challenge and delight riders of all skill levels.

Ideally, you should have at least 8000+ km of riding experience or have been riding for over 1+ year. If you have done challenging rides, then you should be good to go. You ride your ride, but you should be able to keep a reasonably steady pace. Some days are longer than others, and at times we need to maintain a good, safe pace to reach our overnight accommodation. Overtaking and navigating through traffic can be challenging at times, and differ from how we ride in Qld. I've ridden in Thailand before, and it's always a blast. Chat with me directly if you are unsure whether your riding experience is suitable.

Tour price: approx AUD $4300 + airfares + extra nights etc
